Early-generation LED lamps have highly variable and nonlinear electrical characteristics, and line-voltage disruptions could easily destabilize a TRIAC dimming waveform, leading to flicker or dropout — a solution needed to work reliably without a neutral wire, across a wide range of LED lamp designs.
Designed the product architecture for 2-wire LED dimming, then developed two patented algorithms maintaining dimming stability across early-generation LED lamps and line-voltage disruptions. Also built a patented machine-learning approach to detect a lamp's internal construction from measured electrical data, letting the dimmer adapt its control automatically.
