- Designed a product architecture solving LED dimming without a neutral wire, for both older and newer home wiring.
- Developed two patented algorithms maintaining dimming stability across early-generation LED lamps and line-voltage disruptions.
- Built a machine-learning approach (patented) to detect LED lamp internal construction from measured data.
USB Type-C Power Delivery In-Wall Receptacle
- Developed an industry-first 30W USB-PD charging receptacle with high power density using QR flyback topology and an ARM-based USB controller (patented).
- Designed the full hardware architecture to meet thermal and EMI requirements, validated by simulation across production variation.
- Reduced EMI, footprint and cost with a patented logic-control circuit enabling smart power-sharing across USB ports from a single DC-DC stage.
IoT Lighting Controls (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee)
- Led electronics development for BLE, Wi-Fi and Zigbee-enabled lighting controls with battery backup.
